Do you enjoy cooking and want your work to make a real difference? Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital is looking for a Dietary Cook to help prepare meals for pediatric patients while supporting a clean, safe, and caring environment.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen, staying organized, and being part of a team that supports patient care behind the scenes.
Hours Saturday and Sunday 8am to 6pm, plus 2 weekday shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare meals according to written menus and dietary guidelines
- Serve meals to patients at scheduled times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, dining room, and storage areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Review menus and diet slips to prepare meals and formulas correctly
- Assist with dietary substitutions as directed by leadership or medical staff
- Support the mission and values of Ranken Jordan through professional and compassionate service
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic measurement conversions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
