Facilities Support Technician - Evening

Shift 3pm to 11:30pm

Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital is looking for a Facilities Support Technician to help keep the hospital clean, safe, functional, and running smoothly for patients, families, and staff.

This is a hands-on role that supports both Facilities and Environmental Services. The right person will be comfortable handling light maintenance, floor care, housekeeping support, room setups, and general operational needs throughout the hospital.

What You’ll Do

Perform light maintenance and minor repairs
Replace facility components such as light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and filters
Complete work orders through the ticketing system
Assist with floor care including sweeping, mopping, auto-scrubbing, and equipment operation
Support housekeeping and laundry functions during staffing needs
Help with room setups, furniture moves, and facility adjustments
Maintain outdoor areas including walkways and parking lots
Identify and report safety concerns or facility issues
Assist during emergency procedures and operational support needs

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous facilities, maintenance, environmental services, housekeeping, or floor care experience preferred
Comfortable using hand tools, cleaning equipment, and floor care machinery
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Bending, climbing, grasping, and moving equipment as needed
